The Montclair Community Group is on a break for the holidays. We will resume meeting on 1/13/19.

12/16/18 Community Group at Dooley's 5-7pm

This will be our last CG for the 2018 year. Join us for some Kalua Pork and our annual White Elephant gift exchange. 

Dooley's will be making Kalua Pork - bring a side to share; coleslaw, green salad, Hawaiian rolls, White Rice, Fruit Salad, Dessert, Drinks... 

Please, Please RSVP in advance to help with planning! 

Bring a present to re-gift for each person in your family that wants to participate. 

"Why is it called White Elephant?

White Elephant is defined as a possession that is useless or troublesome, especially one that is expensive to maintain or difficult to dispose of. Supposedly, the King of Siam gifted rare albino elephants to courtiers who had displeased him, that they might be ruined by the animals’ upkeep costs.

The term White Elephant refers to a gift whose maintenance costs exceed its usefulness.

In the case of a White Elephant Gift Exchange, gifts are typically humorous ‘gag’ gifts or gifts that have been received but the recipient no longer has a use for.

This Sunday for dinner we are thinking spaghetti feed. Dooley's will provide the pasta and sauce.

11/11/18 Discipleship Groups 5-7pm

Hello All! This week we will be meeting and discussing Acts 8:4-40.

UPDATE: Since it looks like it's going to be a small group, we will combine (GASP) and do bible study together!! Jon's got half a keg left over from the men's night and he needs help finishing it! (Bring empty growlers too). 

We (Dooley's) have a weekend full of sports, so I don't think I can be responsible for any food- but I will have a bottle of wine!
