Montclair Community Update

Given the season where it is going to be harder to meet comfortably outdoors and our family's discomfort with meeting indoors due to Finley's medical history we've made the decision to put a longer term pause on our community group. We will revisit the idea of relaunching perhaps next summer or fall pending the coronavirus situation then but right now we need to take a break from "officially" leading our community. 

11/29 No Community Group

 We will be traveling on Sunday, so no CG again this week. We will post a link for a Zoom CG on 12/6. If anyone has any prayer requests please text Jon or myself, or post them on the Facebook page.

11/15 No Community

UPDATED 11/13: In response to the recent updates from the Gov. office, we are cancelling our meeting in an abundance of caution, due to this unprecedented pandemic, yada yada yada...

The Cokeley's have generously volunteered to host again in their covered backyard space. Just come up driveway along left side of house. This will be our last meeting of November as we will not be meeting 11/22 or 11/29 because of the holiday break.

11/8 NO COMMUNITY GROUP

 No Community Group this week. 

Prayer Requests:

-Eric as he fights complications right now - pray for his body to be able to fight off this infection and for his kidney function to return to normal. 

-Meagan who has a medical procedure on Wednesday. Pray for the results to be normal/benign. Continued prayers for her long term pain.

-For Angie's Aunt Jan - to be able to stay comfortable and free from pain as she spends her remaining time on this earth with her family. Praises that she was able to go home, prayers for peace and comfort for her and her family. 

11/1 CG Lunch at the BG Food Cartel 12:30PM

 Let's switch it up and meet for lunch as a community at the Beaverton Food Cart Pod (https://bgfoodcartel.com/). We should be able to space and eat together on the "grass." See the link for all the food options. We can meet at 12:30, everyone can order their own food and we can spend some time together as a community.

After further conversation with Jon, we are going to cancel this week's gathering in an abundance of caution to protect others. Please text us with any prayer requests you may have so we can continue to lift one another in prayer.

We will need any other family favorites or comfort food such as Mac & Cheese, Lasagna, mashed potatoes & gravy, casseroles, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings…the possibilities are endless. 

Please comment here on the blog if you are planning on coming so everybody knows how much food we need and let us know what you will bring! It really does make my life less stressful when I know how many are coming, It may not seem like a big deal, but it really is important to comment, and as early as you can.
