12/29/19 Community Group Brunch 11:00am-12:30pm at the Dooley's

We will close the year together as a community with a Brunch at the Dooley's from 11-12:30pm.  Dooley's will make a Frittata French Toast and have some Egg Nog.. Some other ideas of things to bring - Please comment and let everyone know what you are bringing!

• Baked French Toast Casserole
• Bacon, Bacon, and more Bacon

• Eggs - scrambled, casseroles, strata, quiche

• Breakfast Sandwiches

• Sausage, Ham, etc (or more bacon)

• Pancakes/Waffles/Crepes (gluten free options too) 
• Toppings (Maple Syrup, whipped cream, sliced strawberries, bananas, blueberries)

• Fruit 

• Biscuits and Gravy

• Grits

• Oatmeal

• Muffins and Pastries

• Champagne/OJ
• Bacon?

• Potatoes - hash browns, breakfast potatoes, home fries

12/15/19 White Elephant Gift Exchange at the Dooley's 5-7pm

Let's do a traditional holiday meal with all your favorites to end out the year together!! Dooley's will be making Turkey Breast and Gravy.

Some other ideas of things to bring - 

Stuffing

Mashed Potatoes

Cranberry Sauce 

Veggie Dishes (Green Beans, Brussel Sprouts, etc)

Salads

Dessert 
Please, Please RSVP as far in advance to help with planning so we know what food everyone is planning on bringing.

Also bring a present to re-gift for each person in your family that wants to participate. 

"Why is it called White Elephant?

White Elephant is defined as a possession that is useless or troublesome, especially one that is expensive to maintain or difficult to dispose of. Supposedly, the King of Siam gifted rare albino elephants to courtiers who had displeased him, that they might be ruined by the animals’ upkeep costs. The term White Elephant refers to a gift whose maintenance costs exceed its usefulness.

In the case of a White Elephant Gift Exchange, gifts are typically humorous ‘gag’ gifts or gifts that have been received but the recipient no longer has a use for.

12/8/19 Community Group at the Dooley's - Italian

We will meet at the Dooley home this Sunday from 5-7pm and the theme is Italian. The Dooley's will provide a Lasagna.  

We will need other pasta dishes (gluten free?) meatballs, maybe some veggies and a salad too!

Haven't seen the Discipleship reading posted yet, so we may just spend some time at the end just praying for one another.

11/24/19 Comfort Foods at the Dooley's 5:30-7pm

This week we will meet for a meal at the Dooley home and the theme is Comfort Foods! The Dooley's will make a large pot of Mac and Cheese...

We will need any other family favorites or comfort food such as Chili, mashed potatoes & gravy, casseroles, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings…the possibilities are endless. We will also need a green salad, drinks and dessert.

Since we missed CG last week, let's combine and do a meal together from 5-6pm and bible study/prayer either all together, or we can split and send men upstairs, and women stay downstairs, or all study together if it's a small group.

Taco Sunday again... because, well, Tacos are always good!!

Let's make the Taco of your dreams.. whether that's Taco Salad, Soft Taco's Flour or Corn - get crazy! Hard Taco's... Broken Tacos (ie - Nachos).... sky's the limit..
